St Wystans Church in Repton is mainly known for the crypt which dates from the 8th century. It is one of the few Saxon crypts that exist today. The entrance to the church is scattered with minor historic finds including saxon carved stones. The list of Repton Charities show those that have helped with money for restoration in the 1600s and 1700s.
